Curro Academy Mbombela is seeking a passionate and experienced Grade R teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. The role involves creating an engaging educational environment, planning and managing teaching and learning activities, supporting discipline, and assisting with sports and cultural programs. This position requires CAPS curriculum experience and a commitment to contributing to the school’s values and ethos.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control, record, and report on assessments
• Attend grade/phase meetings, forums, and workshops as required
• Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom
• Take responsibility for classroom equipment and stock
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure the effective running of the grade/phase
• Manage, plan, assist, and promote teaching and learning

Qualifications

• Appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution
• 2 to 3 years’ experience teaching Grade R
• Permanent SACE registration
• CAPS curriculum experience
• Clear criminal record
